Galeria Berlin Alexanderplatz welcomes its customers at the centre of Alexanderplatz in Berlin's City East. The warehouse offers a wide range of products from medium-priced to luxurious high-priced goods.

When leaving Alexanderplatz station the cuboid alike building block awaits visitors with a wide range of products. They are a mixture of luxurious high-priced and medium-segmented articles.

Fashion, home accessories and food floor

In the fashion sections well known brands of the medium and upper price class present their latest products. Many change rooms complete a relaxed and comfortable shopping experience. Besides fashion Galeria Berlin Alexanderplatz has a huge sports section which provides equipment for several sports. It also has a section for children where clothing and toys can be found. Furthermore, customers can find fine porcelaine as well as accessories for the household, a small book section with english books, shoes, a parfumery and much more. The grocery and delicatessen department on the ground floor is currently closed as the store is being remodelled and extended during ongoing operations. It is currently expected that the new extension towards Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, which also includes the construction of a new office tower, will be completed in 2026.

History of Galeria Berlin Alexanderplatz

After the fall of the Berlin Wall the Kaufhof Warenhaus AG bought the former "Centrum Warehouse", one of the biggest department store in the former GDR. In the following years it became the company's flagship store. In 2006 the building got redesigned inside and outside. Since then it presents its goods on a space of about 35,000 square metres.
